Understanding the limits of artificial intelligence
Agentique Québec inc. designs and configures AI agents, automations and applications to assist businesses. These tools can produce inaccurate, incomplete or outdated answers, even when they appear convincing.
- Check important outputs. A quote, bid, calculation, contractual document or regulatory conclusion must be reviewed by a qualified person before use.
- Maintain appropriate supervision. Permitted actions, human approvals and records to retain are defined in the engagement.
- Consult the required professionals. An AI output does not replace advice from a lawyer, accountant, engineer, architect or another qualified professional.
Estimates and commitments
Examples of savings, timelines or return on investment are indicative unless expressly agreed in writing. Service commitments are those in the applicable proposal or agreement. This notice does not remove any warranty or obligation provided by that agreement or the law.
Liability
The terms of service and the agreement govern the parties’ responsibilities. The need to verify AI outputs does not release the Provider from its own obligations.
No exclusion applies to bodily or moral injury, or to material injury caused by intentional or gross fault. Mandatory legal protections, including article 1474 of the Civil Code of Québec, continue to apply.
Data, hosting and privacy
Using a local tool does not necessarily mean that all processing stays on your device. Email, meetings, backups or a connected AI model may use cloud providers, including outside Québec. The choices applicable to your engagement must be specified before data is processed.

Privacy impact assessment
A privacy impact assessment (PIA) must be conducted where required by law, including for certain information-system projects and before entrusting personal information to a provider outside Québec. It must address the actual processing, information involved, risks and selected measures.
This page provides general information. It is neither a project-specific PIA nor a certification that all risks are low or a system is compliant. A required PIA and the resulting decisions must be documented in the project file.
